Stonewall's BBQ & Catering
Award Winning BBQ
Always Something Good Cooking!
When you travel along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, the main road for folks headed south is Hwy 49. When you reach the rolling hills of the Piney Woods region of the state, you know you are getting close to the coastal plain and the longest man-made white sand beaches anywhere. A drive through the rolling hills of the Piney Woods of south Mississippi will take you to an oasis of Southern Hospitality at Stonewall's BBQ & Catering in Picayune.
US Interstate 59 is a vital artery that connects the Meridian and I-20 to Birmingham, Nashville, and Atlanta with the southwestern edge of the Mississippi and on to New Orleans via I-10. The town of Picayune lies along this route. Picayune has an interesting history as a vital rail and river traffic link to the region. Anyone in town can tell you that a good place to eat is close by in downtown at Stonewall's BBQ & Catering.
Stonewall's BBQ & Catering was originally developed in Poplarville, a small community north of Picayune. That location and operation were acquired by a franchiese interest and the original Pit Master and developer of the brand opened his signature location near the train tracks in downtown Picayune. Lots of front door parking kinda made the decision easier. Now a modern kitchen with a down-home patio and fast service waits tourists and local residents year-round. Come admire the decorations during the holidays and you'll be in the spirit right away. Stonewall's BBQ & Catering will give you a new favorite spot to entertain your family and friends.
Enjoy some great barbecue food at Stonewall's BBQ & Catering and be sure to tell Mr. Tony Smith himself that you heard about them on the Mississippi BBQ Trail.
